The Kardashians Take Cuba!

I am one of those people who shamelessly watches Keeping Up With the Kardashians and all of its related shows in big cities like New York and Miami, but I can’t help wondering how long they can do this for. Their show has been on for twelve seasons so I have no idea what else they can do or where they can go next. I feel like they’ve had multi-part vacation episodes and spin-off shows in a lot of locations at this point.

What is left? Well, luckily for Kim Kardashian and her family, President Barack Obama just restored diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States. So now the famous family has a new option for vacation spots and aside from that, they can use this opportunity to be trendsetters as some of the first people to make such a high profile journey.

I am just curious about the logistics of the trip though. Even with the recent changes, Americans still need permission to travel to Cuba. I just had no idea that filming a reality show would fall under one of the twelve categories for approved travel. Maybe the Kardashians have a long lost Cuban relative? I mean I know they’re not going there for academic or religious reasons. Maybe they’re going to do some charity work though. That would be something nice to “keep up with.”

US Weekly did not have a ton of information about the Kardashians Cuba trip, so it’s unclear who is actually going on the trip, but I just hope that the people at E! open up their wallets and pay for everyone to come. I would love to see Scott Disick, Tyga, Kanye West, Caitlyn Jenner,  Blac Chyna, Brody Jenner, and whoever else is a part of the Kardashian extended family joining Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe on this trip.

In all honesty, this location does seem a little bit off base, but then again, KUWTK did have some pretty serious vacation episodes in their homeland of Armenia last season, so maybe they are just going for a more serious tone this time around? The vacation episodes are usually reality TV gold though, so I’ll definitely be tuning in (and getting made fun of for doing so).
