The battle for hostessing crown rages on between Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Karen Huger, with The Real Housewives Of Potomac ladies’ war coming to a head this week in Bermuda. After Karen made it known that she would be the Grand Dame not only of Potomac – but of the tropics as well – Charrisse and Robyn Dixon took issue. Charrisse explains just what their issues are and why she doesn’t see Robyn as her “soldier.”
“Karen sending a gift basket from her is typical Karen,” snarks Charrisse of the welcome gifts Karen left in all of the ladies’ rooms. “Her tricks never surprise me. Let Karen do whatever she needs to do to make herself feel a sense of relevance. Poor thing, I feel sorry that she needs to go through such measures so that she can feel above me.”
Charrisse also took offense to Karen planning a separate sailing excursion with Gizelle Bryant and Monique Samuels, leaving Charrisse, Robyn, and Ashley Darby out.
She comments in her blog, “Again, typical Karen. I gave up a long time ago trying to make sense out of this woman. I am not going to go crazy trying to understand. She’s enough crazy for all of us. As the saying goes, one monkey don’t stop the show. Clearly, we had a great time without her monkey business behavior.”
Although Charrisse says her jet ski adventure with Robyn and Ashley was “amazing,” she doesn’t see the group as forming pro and anti-Karen teams on her behalf. (Although Robyn’s confrontation of Karen on Charrisse’s behalf seemed to speak otherwise!)

“One thing I love about Robyn is that she will speak her mind. What Karen failed to realize is that Robyn also is a grown woman and makes her own decisions. How she arrived at the idea that Robyn’s unsolicited visit had to do with me is senseless per the usual, senseless Karen,” argues Charrisse.
“I always knew Karen had issues with me,” Charrisse continues, “and I never understood why. But to hear her say the appalling things that she said showed me her true colors. I’ve been nothing but kind to her. And for her to make slanderous comments about me was truly disheartening. I don’t know that I can ever have a true friendship with her.”
Well, Charrisse better figure out how to “go along to get along,” as Gizelle might say, given the fact that Karen basically rules this group. Plus, Karen can throw spectacular shade all day long, so Charrisse might want to bring more than a makeup artist along with her on their next venture together. Girlfriend’s gonna need backup!
For now, Charrisse seems done with Karen. Over who’s the best hostess. Yes, we have reached the barrel’s bottom of all Housewives arguments, people! She ends her blog with parting words for Mrs. Huger: “She is very bitter and it’s not becoming at all. Shame on her! She is too old to demonstrate such classless behavior.”
