Out of everyone in the Real Housewives franchise, it would make sense for Tamra Judge to be all about turning fifty. I mean look at her: she’s been hitting the gym hard and got the most on point face lift. She’s slaying fifty. Or at least that’s easy for me to say as an outsider who has never met her, yet has been strangely invested in her life over the years.
Tamra is just not ready for the big birthday, or at least that’s what she said. Just like the other Housewives before her, I’m sure she will go all out with the celebrations.
In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Tamra admitted, “No, I don’t grow old gracefully. It’s old! 50 is… it’s old.” Is it though? Tell that to Ramona Singer who’s aging in reverse at sixty years old and looking pretty hot (minus that unfortunate high pony tail incident). Cynthia Bailey hash tags #50Cynt whenever she has a chance. Pretty much every Housewife in the franchise uses these big birthdays as an opportunity to expand the brand and get even hotter in the process.
Tamra said, “There’s nothing graceful about getting old. You can’t see. It’s horrible.” That seems a little bit dramatic, but it’s normal for anyone to panic before a “milestone birthday,” even a Real Housewife.
She joked, “Fifty is knocking. It’s right there and I don’t know if I’m ready to bring you in. ” But she really has no choice in the matter.
She even admitted, “At first, I was like ‘No way. There’s going to be no fiftieth birthday party ever.'” Really? Since when does a Real Housewife not want to have an extravagant birthday celebration? Wow.
Then she backtracked a little bit and said, “And now I’m like ‘If it’s happening, I might as well just go out with a bang.'” Why not?
