To no one’s disappointment, it’s been a while since we’ve heard about 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom alum, Farrah Abraham. However, today’s news isn’t unusual for her. She allegedly fought with someone and got in trouble with the law.
Farrah was arrested in January 2022 for reportedly slapping a security guard outside of an L.A. restaurant. In Touch Weekly reports that she had her day in court earlier this week and will avoid jail time. She was instead sentenced to probation and community service.
Farrah allegedly assaulted a security guard and was restrained until police came
Farrah claims that it was actually a security guard who abused her and she is the victim. Nonetheless, witnesses said that wasn’t the case and Farrah was the one who initiated the altercation by slapping security outside Hollywood’s Grandmaster Records restaurant before being arrested and booked on January 16, 2022.
Farrah was charged with battery of an officer in June 2022. She just had court on Tuesday and was sentenced to 18 months of probation and 40 hours of community service. She won’t have to pay any fines or attend classes for her role in the incident.
Farrah maintains she was the one who was assaulted
In Touch interviewed her after the trial to ask her how things are going. After they posted the video, she reposted it to her own Instagram account. She took aim at California, the legal system, and uniformed officers. Farrah said she’s thankful to be alive after the incident.
It’s worth noting that Farrah was arrested in 2018 after allegedly drunkenly slapping a different security guard at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She also got a DUI in 2013. She of course placed the blame on others in those two situations as well.
Farrah’s no longer on reality TV since quitting Teen Mom back in 2018 when she was forced to choose between the show or her porn career. She’s had some stints on Couples Therapy, Marriage Boot Camp, and Celebrity Big Brother UK. But, we’ll probably next get to see her again sometime in the not-so-distant future whenever her next mugshot drops.
