Just as in any break up, questions about divisions of assets will come up. In the case of Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard, their enviable apartment was the obvious topic of conversation.
They showed off the chic residence during Season 7 of Summer House to their castmates during a cocktail party. The view was to die for, and Lindsay and Carl had decorated the place just so. It came with a $13,000 a month price tag, but that was a smaller topic of conversation. The couple were, literally, on top of the world.
Now, after their split, Carl revealed that he did the most reasonable thing possible to compsenate for calling off their engagement.
“There’s still some closure,” Carl revealed
At BravoCon, Carl told PEOPLE that he has moved out of the space lovingly named Rad House. Though, there are still some logistics to work out.
“The apartment situation is still something we’re trying to navigate,” Carl said. “Out of respect, I wanted to do the right thing and it felt right to give her the apartment to take the space.”
He added, “So excited to have a new foundation. Since I’ve had the new foundation, it’s been incredibly positive for me.”
It sounds like things are on the up for Carl, though the former Loverboy VP revealed that “there’s still some closure” that needs to happen between himself and Lindsay. The apartment and its contents may be one of them. The former couple still have matters that “are going to need to be figured out at some point” as part of ending their engagement.
But the Summer House star isn’t stressing for now. And he’s sure matters will sort themselves out.
“I’m just on one day at a time,” Carl concluded. “I’m just trying to just take care of myself.”
