JoJo Siwa Recalls Moment She ‘Broke’ on Special Forces

JoJo Siwa is not a quitter, but Special Forces made her realize stepping away is not necessarily bad.

The Dance Moms alum was among the 14 celebrities who were part of the second season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. She and her fellow recruits went to New Zealand to undergo grueling challenges from the Special Forces’ unique selection process.

JoJo, 20, was one of the last remaining recruits but decided to step away on the last day during the final stretch of interrogations.

JoJo Siwa on Special Forces: Time to say goodbye

During the final stretch of the competition, JoJo asked to speak to the anonymous Umpire amid freezing temperatures. Looking back, she told Page Six that she didn’t regret her decision to leave the show when she was almost at the finish line.

“It was after the first interrogation,” she shared. “I was just thinking, ‘The one thing I learned here was, like, personal life first.’ I knew that I had to break my habits.”

JoJo went back and forth on the decision in her head, and it occupied her thoughts, but eventually, she decided that it was time to say goodbye to the competition and head home.

She recalled that they reminded her that she was “right here,” but she felt she had already learned what she needed to learn from the competition, which was changing how she lived.

Shifting priorities

Now, JoJo is working on putting her personal life first. However, that doesn’t mean she’s taking a break from dance, TV, and performing any time soon.

“My career is my baby,” she explained. “The only thing that will ever come in front of my career one day is my kids.”

She clarified that now, it’s more about her making conscious choices to spend more time with her family and friends despite it not being easy to go out. She wants to cultivate her personal life more and make an effort to strengthen her relationships.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK JOJO MADE THE RIGHT DECISION? DO YOU THINK THAT IT WAS ALSO TOO MUCH FOR HER IN THE END?
