Lisa Barlow Admits Replacement Ring ‘Doesn’t Feel the Same’

Lisa Barlow has spoken out about losing her $60K ring at an airport while filming Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

The reality star fought with her newest castmate, Monica Garcia, during the cast’s trip to Palm Springs after facing criticism for not reading the room. After Lisa misplaced the ring in an airport bathroom, the RHOSLC OG kept repeating its monetary value. During the reunion, Monica shared why Lisa’s comments bothered her.

“Lisa had every right to be upset about losing her ring. What I didn’t like was that it was ‘$60K, $60K, $60K,'” Monica said, to which Lisa replied, “I only said it three times. For me, everybody processes things differently.” But after further discussion, it wasn’t the price tag that had evoked such a heavy reaction from Lisa — it was deeper than that.

Later in the reunion, Lisa explained how her son Henry “almost died” after she had him, and the ring was a gift from her husband, John Barlow

“John gave me that ring because I was like, ‘I don’t know if we’re going to be able to have more kids,” she shared. “That meant more than just a ring that I wear on my finger. Every time I look at it, it’s like, ‘We have our two beautiful babies.’ And it was so hard.”

Monica eventually responded, saying she wasn’t aware of the situation, to which Lisa replied, “But that is no one’s business!”

Once tempers settled down, Lisa defended herself, adding she was allowed to be upset about something near to her heart.

“Because I lost the ring and am upset about it doesn’t mean I’m not relatable to the middle class. It doesn’t mean I think I’m part of the 1%. It doesn’t mean I think I’m better than anyone.”

Although Lisa eventually received a new ring, she admitted the replacement “doesn’t feel the same.”

“I don’t think of it the same. It looks good, but I liked my other one, and I want my other one.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion continues on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024.
