Bravo Fighting Ultimate Girls Trip Butler Over Alleged Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Brandi Glanville could be getting backup from Bravo, kind of. The network repeatedly hires Brandi, knowing exactly who she is, and if something happens, she usually deals with the fallout on her own.

Case in point, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. There are a couple of seasons in question, but the one we’re dealing with is the Butler Situation in Season 2. Not the Caroline Situation of Season 4. This time it also involves Brandi’s buddy, Phaedra Parks. Now the butler might be out of luck after filing a suit because Bravo isn’t backing down. Radar has the scoop.

Bravo fights back

The production company behind RHUGT and Bravo isn’t buying what the butler is trying to sell – and no, I’m not talking about the ripped shirt he advertised on social media.

Marco Vega was hired to tend to the ladies in Season 2 but he alleges both Brandi and Phaedra got a little too close. He brought suit against Bravo and Shed Media over ALLEGED sexual harassment via Brandi and Phaedra.

New court docs show Bravo and Shed requested the court to dismiss the case entirely. Marco was working at Blue Stone Manor where the season was filmed. During one fun-filled evening things may or may not have gotten out of hand. Marco claims “It was Ms. Glanville who on RHUGT in the Berkshires sexually harassed and abused MARCO VEGA.”

Marco’s attorneys bashed Bravo and Shed for hiring Brandi in the first place. Legal documents say, “Defendants had overwhelming prior notice of Ms. GLANVILLE’s prior deviant sexual proclivities and sexually harassing conduct.”

It continued, “However, despite this knowledge, Defendants wrongfully continued to hire GLANVILLE for their shows. Defendants allowed, condoned, and even encouraged Ms. GLANVILLE’s sexually aggressive and offensive conduct on others on the sets.”

Not quite done yet. “However, despite this knowledge, Defendants wrongfully continued to hire GLANVILLE for their shows. Defendants allowed, condoned, and even encouraged Ms. GLANVILLE’s sexually aggressive and offensive conduct on others on the sets.”

Additionally, Marco said producers were entirely aware of Brandi’s “tendency to sexually harass others.” He also claims the production crew encouraged Brandi’s drinking “to become drunk on the set so that she would be more likely to commit outrageous and harassing acts.”

Phaedra’s name comes up

Then Phaedra’s name entered the chat. “Defendants further encouraged other housewives such as Phaedra Parks and others to become inebriated and sexually harass others. As a result of Defendants’ actions and inactions, Ms. GLANVILLE and Phaedra Parks sexually abused and harassed MARCO VEGA causing him emotional distress and other damages.”

During the filming which took place in September 2021, Marco said Phaedra slapped him on the butt and Brandi ripped off his shirt. He also said “another woman” performed a striptease. He further alleges Brandi said, “Earn your money, Marco. Take your shirt off. Do something.”

Not for nothing, Marco didn’t appear super traumatized when he ALLEGEDLY appeared on social media and tried to sell the ripped shirt in question. Brandi and Phaedra are not defendants in this suit.

Bravo filed a motion and said Marco’s case was filed in the incorrect state and two of his claims had gone beyond the statute of limitations. They feel his case is “frivolous.” Apparently, Marco neglected to mention any sexual harassment on set.

“Plaintiff’s vague allegation that he told producers that he was being sexually harassed by Glanville lacks any specificity, including when he allegedly made this statement, to whom, and how they responded.”

Showrunner and executive VP John Paparazzo said, “I was present and observed the cast for the entirety of the burlesque show event and dinner that evening, including the portion of the evening when Plaintiff danced with various members of the cast. Based on my observations that evening, Plaintiff seemed to be having a good time, laughing, and participating during the event.”

This case is pending and a judge has not ruled on Bravo’s request to dismiss.
