Jill Zarin Joins New Reality Show Alongside Julia Haart

Get ready Jill Zarin fans! Your long national nightmare is over and it looks like the Real Housewives of New York alum is coming back to television. We don’t know how long this new show will last, but here we go.

Bravo fans remember the icon, the legend, the Diet Coke-drinking former friend of Bethenny Frankel from RHONY. Since leaving the show, it seems Jill has been on a never-ending journey to get back on tv. She was graced with Season 2 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, but now she has … her own series. Page Six has the scoop.

It’s the Jill and Julia Show

Gone is the ensemble cast and instead we have Julia Haart. I know, you probably have no idea who Julia is and that’s okay. She had a show over on Netflix called My Unorthodox Life. It began in 2021 and I’m not entirely sure it will ever see a Season 3.

Ten years ago, Julia left an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community and that move made some waves. She advanced in the fashion world and wound up the CEO of Elite World Group in 2019, promoted by then-husband, Silvio Scaglia, the owner. In 2022, she filed for divorce and that same day, she lost her job.

Jill and Julia’s new program will be on a “major network,” but it won’t be Bravo or the aforementioned Netflix. And the premise of the show is … interesting. Apparently, it’s a “reality version” of the early oughts Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew McConaughey movie, Failure to Launch. No, I don’t get it either.

The movie’s summary said, “a 35-year-old sailboat salesman who drives a Porsche and dates hot women. Also, he lives with his parents.” It appears Jill and Julia will be acting as “guidance counselors” for men and trying to make the transition from Mommy’s House to adulthood with relative ease. Yeah boy, I’m not sure how this will do.

J and J have made no comments about their new offering but both are posting on their social media with a link to a Google Form. “Do you or someone you know need help kickstarting their life? Whether it’s moving out of your [parents’] house, getting a job, learning to date — our celebrity hosts and experts want to help!”

Filming is set to begin in “early 2024.”
