Reality TV fans are still buzzing about Heather Gay’s masterful take-down of Monica Garcia. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newbie was outed as being involved in the snarky account, Reality Von Tease. During the Season 4 finale, Heather gave a passionate speech. “Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! [Expletive] everything!” Heather screamed at Monica. The episode was so powerful that some fans think that Heather deserves an Emmy.
Meanwhile, some of the dance pros on Dancing with the Stars decided to give a nod to Heather’s epic speech. I love it when reality shows reference each other.
A “Cell Block Tango” that gave Heather a shout-out
Four pro dancers took a break from tour rehearsal to create this TikTok. Jenna Johnson, Rylee Arnold, Alexis Warr, and Ezra Sosa performed a version of Chicago’s “Cell Block Tango.” In Ezra’s TikTok, the dancers lined up and performed the actual choreography from the show. But instead of the lyrics, which were “Pop! Six! Squish!” and “Uh-uh!”, the dancers lip-synched Heather’s tirade instead.
It is hilarious to see the dancers lip-synching Heather’s “Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! [Expletive] everything!” Ezra captioned the clip, “The Real Housewives of DWTS,” He credited @jawbreakersdj Joe Donovan for the audio clip.
The mash-up received a lot of love in the comments. One user commented, “And with all the Utah dancers…how ICONIC.” That’s right, in another cute call-out, all of the dancers in the mash-up hail from Utah. A follower wrote, “CELL BLOCK TANGO I CANNOT.” Another wrote, “This should be an added performance on the tour.”
I’m sure that Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix will be thrilled by this fusion. The DWTS alum is headed to Broadway to play Roxie Hart in Chicago. Her eight-week run in the iconic role begins in January 2024.
