Things have been messy since the shocking Season 4 finale, where Heather exposed the freshman Housewife for her role in the Reality Von Tease social media account. It was an Instagram page that mainly targeted Jen Shah beginning in 2021 but expanded to attacking the rest of the ladies shortly after.
When the cast discovered Monica’s secret, Heather called her out, saying she had “receipts, proof, timeline, and screenshots” to back up her claims. Later, she asked the mother of four to pack her bags before kicking her off of their final cast trip in Bermuda. Now that the three-part Salt Lake City reunion has finished airing, Monica won’t return for Season 5, primarily due to her strained relationship with the rest of the cast. Simply put, they can’t trust her. But are there double standards in the group?

Bad Person Mormon author Heather has been praised as an icon for her explosive finale monologue. We can’t lie; it was epic. But Heather lost me during part three of the reunion. She and Lisa Barlow stated they didn’t see a way for Monica’s return because her lies broke their trust. However, later in the episode, Heather spoke about lying to the production company regarding her black eye for over a year.
So, let me get this straight. Heather fiercely defended her crooked friend, who stole millions of dollars from vulnerable people and covered for her, knowing she popped her in the face and blacked her eye. And to make things worse, Heather fabricated elaborate stories that allegedly placed producers and network executives at risk of losing their jobs!? BUT YOU’RE MAD AT MONICA FOR CALLING YOU A LOSER ONLINE?
The Two T’s in a Pod are confused, too.
“How can Heather lie, but Monica can’t?” Teddi asked. “And she’s saying it’s a joke when she’s saying it to the press.”
“That’s not cool,” Tamra added.
We couldn’t agree more, Tam Tam. Some viewers now see Heather as negligent, reckless, and irresponsible. If anybody needs to take a break from RHOSLC, it could be Heather and possibly her moderately dehydrated cousin, Whitney Rose. She went full fake and I am actively manifesting the day a veteran Housewife from another franchise reads you both like a book. Somebody’s gotta come in and give Mary Cosby a break.
