Monica Garcia Doesn’t Think Her RHOSLC Exit Was the ‘Right Decision’

This information should come as no surprise, but Monica Garcia doesn’t necessarily agree with Bravo’s decision to fire her from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Ahead of part three of the Season 4 reunion the news dropped that Monica wouldn’t return for another season. There are already casting rumors for RHOSLC Season 5, but Monica is convinced that she should have never been let go in the first place.

The Housewives newbie and troll account aficionado recently did an interview with celebrity blogger Ricky Cornish. There, she chatted about Season 4’s rollercoaster ride of drama. He asked Monica how it felt to watch the show move on without her. And she didn’t hold back with her answer.

Was Monica’s RHOSLC exit a bad move?

When the interviewer asked Monica about her thoughts on getting the axe, the former RHOSLC star took things in stride. She kicked off her response with some serious sarcasm before stating her case for why she should have returned for another round with the Housewives.

“I think [not returning] was the right decision for the time,” Monica teased. “Just kidding, just kidding. I don’t really think that. I think everybody should put on their big girl panties and deal with it.”

Monica explained that she was hoping for “resolve” with the ladies, and she thinks fans want to see it, too. According to Monica, things were just too tense during the Season 4 reunion that she couldn’t properly explain herself. For some reason, she’s confident that outside of a reunion setting, they would be able to have a productive conversation about Reality Von Tease.

“It was tense. Part three of the reunion was brutal. I was checked out,” Monica explained. A 12-hour shoot can do that to you.

If Monica had her say, the cameras would have started rolling for Season 5 right after the Season 4 reunion ended. Everyone would return for another season, and they would have worked things out back in Salt Lake City.

“I think we should have gone right into filming,” Monica continued. “We’re all there to do a job. Let’s do it, and let’s resolve it, and let’s move on. I don’t think anything was done that’s not fixable.”
