Andy Cohen ‘Hired a Crisis PR Team’ After Recent Legal Issues: ‘Everyone Is Rallying Around Him’

Is Andy Cohen officially in crisis mode? After a couple of former Real Housewives called him out for alleged inappropriate behavior, the word on the street is that Andy has hired a PR team to help clean up the mess that he allegedly made.

Page Six reported all the details about the latest in Bravo’s bombshell legal scandal. Leah McSweeney claimed in a lawsuit that Andy played favorites with the Real Housewives, using cocaine as a means to get special treatment. Allegedly, there’s a crisis team in place to help get this all swept under the rug.

Andy under fire

Within a matter of days, Andy got called out by both Leah and Brandi Glanville for various indiscretions. Brandi claimed he sent her an inappropriate FaceTime, for which Andy apologized. Regarding Leah’s claims about doing blow, he vehemently denied them through a statement from his rep.

According to sources close to the Bravo head honcho, he has taken steps to assemble a crisis PR team. The source noted that’s a “red flag.” If anything, it just confirms how serious the accusations are.

Meanwhile, others from his circle are trying to minimize the role the crisis PR team is playing in his response. They claimed that he’s just getting advice from people who have been through similar situations. Leave it to Andy to have a Rolodex of previously canceled celebrities on speed dial.

“He does not have a formal agreement,” the source explained. “He has not paid a penny.”

Regardless of whether he’s paid for his PR team or not, it seems like Andy is winning in the court of public opinion. Tons of Real Housewives have come out in support of Andy. Even fired Housewives have shown support.

“Everyone is rallying around him” the source explained. “They’re keeping the positivity.”

If Andy is scrambling to craft a perfect PR response, we should expect more words from him in the coming days. In the meantime, the courts will sort through Leah’s claims against the network. Expect more to come as this case continues.
