Crystal Kung-Minkoff has kept her foot on Dorit Kemsley’s neck throughout much of Season 13 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Part 1 of the reunion aired last week, and Crystal hasn’t let up; and for good reason. Dorit calling Crystal a “child bride” wasn’t only inaccurate, it was also culturally inappropriate and gross.
Now, Crystal just called out Dorit for holding up the reunion taping for an unreasonable amount of time, leaving both the cast and Andy Cohen annoyed.
Crystal says Dorit was two hours late to the reunion set
Part 1 aired on February 28, where viewers saw Dorit show up very last to the set while everyone else has already taken their place on the couches.
Crystal and Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, Cynthia Bailey, were guests on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live a few days ago. When the conversation turned to the RHOBH reunion looks, Crystal spilled all of the details about how super last Dorit actually was.
Crystal explained, “This is what really pissed me off. We had to wait 2 hours for [Dorit] to get ready. Me and Sutton [Stracke] were outside, we were just waiting and waiting. Sutton texted me, she was so mad because we saw Dorit was posting all these TikTok videos of ‘getting ready’ and we’re like ‘That’s what she’s been [doing?]’ We got there at 5:30 and then we didn’t sit down until 10 or something. We were so annoyed.”
Jeff chimed in, “You guys were all sitting on the stage and she was the last one to sit down. And also you could hear Andy he said, ‘I’m so glad I got here at 8:30 and she’s not ready,’ and they’re literally sewing it on her.”
Crystal continued, “Look, if she has a wardrobe malfunction, I get that. But then we were watching all these videos of her playing around in there, I was like ‘Ugh.’ It’s rude. I’d rather sleep in or take my kids to school. I don’t want to leave at 5.”
Crystal added that Andy and the ladies spent much of the wait in their dressing rooms, and Dorit was unapologetic when she finally did arrive.
Dorit also got called out on social media
Dorit posted a Mean Girls lip-sync TikTok from the reunion day on Instagram, where she got several snarky comments about her lateness.
One user asked, “This what you was doing when everyone was waiting for you to start filming?????”
“Is this why everyone was waiting for her tonight? always so narcissistic,” asked another.
Another quipped, “Imagine someone being 2 hours late cause they were filming this reel?”
How late is fashionably late? And is this esophageal-chic dress and pasted down piece of forehead hair fashion? Asking for all of us sitting here judging in our yoga pants!
