MJ Javid Isn’t Holding a ‘Grudge’ After Traitors Finale

Mercedes “MJ” Javid had some words for her co-stars CT Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella during The Traitors reunion.

In case you missed it, the Shahs of Sunset star was blindsided during the finale episode, where CT and Trishelle voted to banish her from the game, ending her chances of sharing the just-over $200,000 grand prize. Many fans felt the MTV vets stole MJ’s portion of the money; however, CT addressed those claims, saying the money wasn’t MJ’s to begin with.

During the sit-down, MJ told host Andy Cohen that she blocked her co-stars on Instagram immediately after leaving the show. In a new conversation with People, the Bravo staple stated she has no plans to unblock them any time soon.

MJ says she’ll move on with Trishelle eventually … but not CT

Now that the game is officially over, fans and players have voiced their concerns about some contestants taking things too personally. Many were shocked to hear that MJ took things to social media, and some assumed she’d get over it by the reunion. But according to MJ, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

“I did not unblock them,” she said. “They’re still blocked.”

“I’ll definitely speak to them eventually,” she insisted, adding, “I’m not going to hold a grudge.” MJ continued, explaining that when the time to unblock arrives, it’ll be “calculated,” clarifying it wouldn’t be “random.”

“I am going to parlay it into something. It’s not going to be CT, but Trishelle. I’m way softer on women — and specifically her. We’ll be fine.”

Trishelle and CT have both responded to MJ’s statements following their massive win last Thursday. In a separate interview, CT said he understood the cause of MJ’s hurt since she doesn’t come from competition reality. However, he chalked it up to the name of the game.

“In these types of games, someone’s gonna get upset. And so, even if Trishelle and MJ won, I would have been upset. Or me and MJ won, Trishelle would have been upset. It doesn’t matter. We’re all human. It sucks when you don’t get your torch lit, so to speak.”
