Luke Broderick Made Reality TV ‘Deal’ With Kristen Doute

It’s almost time for Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute to make their grand return to reality television in their new series, The Valley

The show features the aforementioned stars alongside their partners and best friends living it up in the valley while “adulting.” Kristen will showcase her new life with boyfriend, Luke Broderick. Obviously, he is fairly new to living life in front of the cameras.

“It’s a little nerve-racking, but it’s so exciting,” Kristen told Entertainment Tonight. “I think I have just evolved so much… We have our podcast. But I really wanted to showcase our life and wanting to be married, eventually married, wanting to be parents.”

Luke is only appearing on The Valley for this specific reason

Unlike Kristen, Luke isn’t into being in the spotlight. He said it’s “not even close” to up his alley, but he did it for a reason. “Here is the deal — this was discussed prior to us dating, making it official that if we make it a thing, I have to agree to be on camera,” he revealed. “So, I am following through with my side of the deal.”

“And my side of the deal is when we become parents, when the baby or the child is of school age, we no longer live in proper LA,” Kristen said.

Sounds like a win-win for them both.

In addition to taking viewers on their journey of becoming parents, Kristen and Luke will likely have their fair share of drama with their costars, too. In a sneak peek for the series shared last week, Luke spoke with former VPR villain Jax about being blocked by him on Instagram

“Am I still blocked, or can we be friends?” he asked Jax, to which he replied, “You tell me. Let’s see if you are, and let me know, and I’ll do my best to unblock you.”

The Valley premieres on Bravo on March 19.
