The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 was, for the most part, a win, with Guerdy Abraira shining brightly amid her cancer battle. Sure, cast members like Marysol Patton might’ve essentially given what they always do. But it’s a tried and tested formula.
However, despite the strong delivery of Miami’s most recent season, rumor has it that the likes of Guerdy and Marysol are out at Bravo. Some fans were hoping for a cast shakeup. With any upcoming season of any Housewives franchise, vocal viewers will decry at least one castmate.
In the case of RHOM, however, most fans were hoping that Kiki Barth might be upgraded and receive her Mojito. Unfortunately, the current rumors are suggesting an unfortunate contrast to fans’ hopes. Keep in mind, at this point, all of this is either rumor or pure speculation.
Social media suggests Real Housewives of Miami cast shakeup ahead of Season 7
On March 23, Bravo commentator @queensofbravo posted a photo from the RHOM Season 6 reunion, writing, “Since the news is coming out, our sources are confirming the following: #RHOM will have a Fall production start date and there will be cast changes.”
Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, were immediately and understandably shaken, questioning what cast changes would need to occur. “Literally best cast why change it if it ain’t broke,” one fan asked in a reply. Others hoped that Kiki would be promoted to a main cast member rather than a friend of, with no other changes.
Unfortunately, Twitter user @dorindadeadly heard another rumor. “The streets are saying Guerdy and Marysol are most likely to not return next season #RHOM.” they wrote. One user replied that they heard Guerdy wouldn’t be returning so she could focus on her health. But keep in mind that everything suggested is purely speculation as of right now.
To indulge the rumors for a moment, letting go of Guerdy would be a baffling decision after the powerful moments she gave fans in Season 6. The emotion and drama she provided landed her first chair at the reunion. Her theoretical departure from the cast would be devastating.
In any case, The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 is rumored to begin filming in the fall of this year.
