Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick teased the rest of the explosive first season of The Valley, and we can’t wait.
The former Vanderpump Rules star has been dating her new boo, Luke, for some time. The pair joined Jax Taylor, his wife, Brittany Cartwright, and many of their friends for a new adventure away from the busy streets of Los Angeles.
The first episode showcased Jax and Kristen bumping heads after the former questioned whether Kristen was ready to have children. “Now that we’re on this children conversation, I just want you to make sure that you’re ready for this situation,” Jax said before adding a child “isn’t like getting a dog.” During a chat with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Kristen hinted at more drama down the road and said fans won’t want to miss it.
Luke and Kristen tease friendship struggles this season of The Valley
If you saw the first episode of The Valley, then you know drama is already brewing between many of the show’s stars. “So this summer, a lot of friendships are really kind of put on the line. They’re tested,” Luke said. “There’s a lot of drama — way more than I’m used to, probably three years worth of drama for me, personally. You just have to watch and see. It’s a lot.”
Luke spoke briefly about his feud with Jax during Episode 1 when he revealed the VPR villain blocked him on Instagram. “So, Jax, am I still blocked?” he asked him. “You tell me. Let’s see if you are and let me know and I’ll do my best to unblock you,” Jax replied sarcastically.
Kristen also discussed the drama viewers will see during The Valley. “I agree with everything that Luke is saying,” she said. Additionally, “I think what’s going to be very wild, too, is the progression of the season. Things change pretty quickly and dramatically with couples and friendships.”
