Bethenny Frankel Says She Was Punched in New York Amid Epidemic of Assaults

Horrifically, subway attacks, hate crimes, and felony assaults are on the rise in New York City. In just one example, multiple women are sharing their experiences on TikTok, as all are now victims of a new random punch-and-run styled attack that’s going around, in broad daylight, throughout Manhattan. As a former New York’er, I’m horrified, and I hate that women have one additional fear now unlocked. Wildly, Bethenny Frankel’s joining in as a victim, which I hate for this Real Housewives of New York City alum.

This also shows that females are never truly safe, even when a body guard is nearby. As an aside, while Bethenny’s made several concerning comments over the years, it’s always important to listen to victims. Even the ones who wrongfully insist that “life is not a cabaret!”

The comment that brought Bethenny into the fold

When a fashion design student named Mikayla Toninato posted about her assault on TikTok, Bethenny left (and then deleted) a comment. However, Page 6 kept the receipts. In this, Bethenny’s comment is present.

“This is insane bc this happened to me a few months ago but I was embarrassed to say. I was on the UWS [Upper West Side]. Insane. I was taking video of a bakery,” Bethenny penned.

Take note, Ramona Singer, because this is Bethenny, supporting other women.

Bethenny explains her experience

Clarifying her comment, Bethenny then took to her own account. Here, she claims that on the day of her attack, she was in Manhattan, looking at apartments. Stopping for a quick bite to eat, “this man, this homeless man” hit her, as she exited a “cute little deli.”

Due to being “completely stunned” afterwards, as anyone would be, Bethenny alerted her nearby security guard. In turn, her protector “started confronting the guy.” However, Bethenny did not want her minder to keep mentioning it all. Instead, she wanted to “get the hell out of there” and not “provoke [the attacker] anymore.”

Totally done with this day, Bethenny then stressed “At that point, I texted the broker and said, ‘I don’t want to see apartments anymore. This city is insane.” Good call, Bethenny. Go home and GO TO SLEEP.

To all of the ladies in NYC and beyond, stay vigilant. And finally, from one woman to all of the others, I hate it here, and I hate this for us all.
