Bethenny Frankel’s Ex Jason Hoppy Has A Surprising Connection To Sarah Jessica Parker

Fans of Bravo and Sex and the City are reacting to a very unexpected connection involving Bethenny Frankel’s ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Bethenny first became a household name during her run on The Real Housewives of New York City, where her sharp humor and unfiltered commentary quickly made her one of the franchise’s biggest stars. Her popularity later led to the Bravo spinoff Bethenny Ever After, which chronicled her relationship with Jason, including their wedding and early years as newlyweds.

What started as a whirlwind romance eventually turned into one of Bravo’s messiest breakups, with years of court appearances, custody disputes, and tabloid headlines following their 2012 split. Now, Jason is unexpectedly back in the Bravo conversation for a reason nobody saw coming.

According to celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi, Jason has reportedly remarried and welcomed a child with a woman who previously worked as longtime nanny to Sarah.

“We just learned that Jason Hoppy, after a very long, public and contentious divorce from former ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ cast member, Bethenny Frankel, is now married and has a child with Sarah Jessica Parker’s former longtime nanny,” the account shared.

The report immediately got Bravo fans talking because of Bethenny’s complicated history with both Jason and the Sex and the City universe.

Bethenny and Jason once looked like one of Bravo’s success stories after tying the knot and starting a family together. That image did not last long. Their split sparked years of courtroom drama and ongoing custody disputes that continued long after the marriage ended, with the divorce finally wrapping up in 2021.

The SJP connection also reopened conversations about Bethenny’s criticism of the SATC reboot, And Just Like That. Fans may remember Bethenny blasting the show in 2023 after Season 2 referenced her during a Hamptons-related joke. She later doubled down in interviews and social media videos, even calling the series the “worst show ever.”

Neither Bethenny, Jason, nor Sarah has publicly addressed the DeuxMoi report. Still, the bizarre connection between the Bravo and SATC circles has sparked plenty of conversation online.

The Real Housewives of New York City and Bethenny Ever After stream on Peacock.
