The Valley’s Kristen Doute’s Strange Text to Michelle Lally After Racism Argument

The Valley drama between Kristen Doute and Michelle Lally has been odd, to put it lightly. For those who aren’t in the know, Kristen allegedly said that Janet Caperna said Michelle was “racist and a Republican” according to Brittany Cartwright.

Michelle told her husband, Jesse Lally, “I’m still shocked, to be honest with you. Like completely shocked … I’m the one who is first-generation Mexican and Persian. I’m just so shocked and confused by the whole thing.”

Janet told Michelle, “That word and your name has never come out of my mouth in the same sentence. This is a whole new low even for Kristen.” On the April 9 episode, the drama evolved.

Kristen sends vague message about Michelle’s “secrets”

“So, Kristen sent me this message,” Michelle told Jesse. “And she said, ‘I just wanted to assure you that your secrets are safe with me and I don’t retaliate for the sake of my own mental health. Wishing you the best.’” The text confused both Michelle and Jesse.

Jesse asked, “What secrets is she talking about?” Michelle responded, “I don’t know what that means exactly, but does she not comprehend that my life is much bigger than this? I work. I am a mother of a 3-year-old. And I keep trying to be the bigger person, but she keeps upsetting me.”

Despite the turmoil Kristen caused Michelle, she seemed to be improving her relationship with her husband. Jesse told his wife, “You were direct and forceful, I loved it.” He added, “You had veins in your neck. I was so turned on.”

“Jesse and I haven’t laughed like this in years,” Michelle shared with cameras. “In a twisted way, Kristen is bringing Jesse and I together. But I’m not gonna thank her for that.”

The Valley continues Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
