Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 Trailer Arrives

The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 trailer is here almost a year and a half after the first season’s conclusion. With just that one season under its belt, Dubai is one of the more controversial Real Housewives franchises.

RHODubai suffered from general criticisms levied against almost any Housewives franchise – boring, uninteresting/undeserving cast, unfocused drama, etc. However, on top of that, the installment was criticized on a conceptual level.

In general, Housewives franchises focus on empowering women. Fans questioned Dubai as a location given the reported sexism and discrimination against women in the UAE. Nevertheless, it would seem RHODubai is here to stay (for now). Take a look at what Season 2 will have to offer.

Lesa says RHODubai “is not worth it for me”

On April 11, Bravo dropped the RHODubai trailer to mixed reactions. The trailer opened with shots of the women walking through the dunes, commenting on the oppressive weather in Dubai. Cut to an argument over a dining table with Chanel Ayan telling a costar, “Say how you feel to somebody’s face!”

After more squabbling, Sara Al Madani told Caroline Stanbury, “You’re brands from head to toe but zero class.” The two then began telling each other to shut up. The trailer then showed some expensive outings including golfing, boating, four-wheeling, and meditating atop a pond.

As far as interpersonal drama, the trailer saw Caroline facing the pressures of potential motherhood. Lesa Milan’s friends supposed there was something amiss in her home life that she was hiding from the group. There was also talk of Sara’s new man, a smoke show from Germany, as well as a discussion of Caroline and Ayan’s growing friendship.

During another dinner, Lesa quipped, “A snake will change their skin, but they’ll always be a snake.” In response, Caroline said, “I feel the same about you, darling.” From there, Ayan was getting into it with multiple costars. “My friendship with you is over,” she told Lesa, with the latter responding, “This show is not worth it for me.”

The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 hits Bravo on June 2 with new episodes airing every Tuesday starting June 11.
