Betrayal, lies, and a manor in Scotland? No, this isn’t The Traitors. It’s the midseason trailer for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17, and it is messy from start to finish.
In the sneak peek at what’s to come, Porsha Williams is at the center of so much drama that it will make your head spin. She’s got baby daddy drama, a former Love & Hip Hop star running rampant, and Shamea Morton Mwangi speaking about her mother. The drama runs so deep that Porsha had to call in a Housewife from another city to help her sort through it.
The RHOA drama is just getting started on Season 17
The RHOA Season 17 midseason trailer kicks off with Phaedra Parks channeling her days on The Traitors by leading them through some Traitors-inspired games during a cast trip to Scotland. Unfortunately for everyone involved, the betrayal in this friend group is very real, and Porsha is somehow at the center of most of it.
So far this season, we’ve seen her at odds with K. Michelle and Kelli Potter. In the trailer, Porsha appears to hug things out with Kelli. The chances of that peace treaty lasting are slim to none, but we appreciate the effort.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Porsha sits down with Gizelle Bryant from The Real Housewives of Potomac. Naturally, Gizelle asked about the status of things with Shamea, and judging by the footage, we already have an answer to that question. The trailer shows Shamea resurrecting the years-old beef between her mom and Porsha’s mom.
“Your mom did something first to my mom,” Shamea tells Porsha in front of the whole group.
Porsha hit back, “You and your mother are low-down dirty snakes.”
As if that’s not enough drama, Porsha also gets into a screaming match with her baby’s father, Dennis McKinley. She also seems to hit a few bumps in her new romance with Patrice “Sway” McKinney. She can’t catch a break.
Clearly, we’ve only scratched the surface of what Season 17 has in store, which means you’ve got an appointment with your TV on Sunday nights.
