Did anybody else see Brittany Cartwright popping off on her Instagram Stories the other day? Apparently, The Valley star is fed up with people weighing in on her parenting skills. She wants everyone to leave Cruz alone, and we completely agree with her.
A line has been crossed
In Season 1 of The Valley, we’ve followed Brittany and Jax Taylor as they navigate the difficulties of raising a toddler. They decided to take him to speech therapy after noticing some developmental challenges. Now that Jax and Brittany are separated, they’ve put a focus on being good co-parents, but of course, some fans have been unnecessarily critical on social media. Brittany doesn’t want to hear it.
In her Stories, she sent a message to everyone looking to weigh in on Cruz. Instagram Stories might expire after 24 hours, but screenshots last forever. Thankfully, People got the screenshots from her Instagram Stories.
Brittany wrote .”You guys can reel in the drama of my life I don’t care but leave my innocents [sic] sons name out of it!!! Don’t act like you know anything about him watching 30 mins of a show recorded last summer.”
She continued, “I do everything I possibly can for him so how dare some of you!? ENOUGH he is a perfect and innocent child and I will not have strangers acting like they know what’s going on in his life. Talk about me talk about his father I don’t care but enough is enough!!!!!!”
With all of those exclamation points, you know she’s serious. Plus, a source close to the Bravo star said that she feels “hurt” when reading comments from fans questioning her parenting skills. The insider reaffirmed that Cruz’s well-being is the number one priority of both Jax and Brittany. So, let’s all cut them some slack.
The Valley airs on Bravo on Tuesdays at 9/8c.
