Dylan Efron has some explaining to do. The most famous Efron brother of the moment has just gone viral for some thirst traps he posted on Instagram long ago. Dylan came across as pretty down-to-earth on Season 3 of The Traitors, so thirst traps don’t really seem to align with his brand. But Dylan has an explanation behind the snaps, and it all goes back to his girlfriend.

During his time on Traitors, Dylan was purely focused on the game. While some of his costars were focused on fashion and serving looks, Dylan honed in on hunting the Traitors, which is probably why he took it down and won the grand prize along with his fellow faithfuls, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, Gabby Windey, and Dolores Catania.
So, it’s quite a surprise that Dylan posted a bunch of thirst traps on Instagram. He seemed way too serious for all that. But people can surprise us. It’s like when Dylan recently revealed that showering was overrated. Yikes.
However, Dylan’s thirst traps didn’t come about as one would think, he told all the details to E! News’. Apparently Dylan was trying to entertain his girlfriend. Who knew he would inadvertently entertain everyone else as well?
Dylan said, “My girlfriend took the photo. This was more that I’m trying to make her laugh as she’s taking photos.” And they didn’t immediately go up online either. Dylan shared he didn’t post them until “months later.”
He joked, “I was like, ‘Ah, I never posted that; it’s kinda funny. I hid it in a carousel, and then the show comes out. It was found out pretty quick.” Oop.
Still, that hasn’t stopped him from planning another photo shoot. And this time it will be with his buddy, Bob The Drag Queen. Dylan said, “We’ve talked about maybe bringing Miss Guided to life. I’m only going to do it with him, so we’ll see what we come up with.” And fans will be looking forward to it.
