Danielle Olivera of Summer House talked with her fans recently on Instagram via an impromptu Q&A session. During the quick chat, she candidly answered questions, shared photos, and gave an update on her friendship with Lindsay Hubbard.
Danielle confirmed that she would not be returning as a full-time cast member on Summer House right before filming began on Season 9. However, that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t kept in touch with her former castmates. And she gives an update on her friendships with followers.
Are Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera still close?
One fan asked her if she was still close with Lindsay.
In response, Danielle shared a photo of herself happily cradling Lindsay’s baby girl, Gemma, at her apartment in New York City and answered, “Yep, and absolutely loving seeing her as a mama. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this chapter of her life, she’s made for it.”
It looks like Danielle is walking back on her earlier comments about waiting until the baby is a little bit older to spoil her so she can avoid dirty diapers.
Lindsay is currently focusing on her new role as mom and her complicated relationship with her baby’s father, Dr. Turner Kufe, who until recently was a bit of a mystery. Lindsay began dating him shortly after her tumultuous split from Carl Radke. As for Danielle, she’s remained single.
Another question posed to her by fans during the Q&A was if she would ever go on Samantha Feher’s podcast and do a fun collab with Sam again if given the chance.
Again, Danielle took the opportunity to share a cute photo of her and Sam in fitness clothes and answered that she would absolutely love to make an appearance or do a collaboration with her former co-star. She also noted that Sam was an inspiration.
“!00%! Sam is such a force and so inspiring,” Danielle wrote. “Focusing on my physical and mental health has been my priority going into 2025 and I’m starting to see change. When I think about people who motivate me to keep pushing myself, she’s one of them.”
