Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Teddi Mellencamp, is continuing her courageous battle against cancer. After suffering from unbearable headaches, Teddi revealed in February 2025 that she had several brain tumors. She underwent surgery to remove some of the larger tumors while undergoing radiation treatment for the smaller ones.
Teddi Mellencamp’s cancer battle continues
Teddi learned in February that her melanoma had metastasized to her brain and lungs. Recently, the podcast host shared that four more tumors were discovered in her brain. Along with “fighting” for her own life, Teddi is also fighting “for my family’s life and all the people I love.” She shares three children with her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave.
In her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Teddi shared an update about her radiation treatment. “Today’s a pretty big day,” she said in a video. “Today’s supposed to be my final day of radiation. Granted, it was supposed to be last week, but then they found those pesky four more tumors.” She wore a bright yellow shirt that sported the words, “I’m a ray of f*cking sunshine.”
In another Instagram Story video, Teddi reached her milestone. With her “graduation papers” in hand, she read a plaque on the wall beneath the “good luck” bell. Finally, she rang the bell three times, signaling the end of her course of radiation. Then, she embraced some off-camera friends.
Teddi wrote over the video clip, “Ringing the bell can signify a major phase of treatment – today was my last day of radiation. 5 more rounds of immunotherapy to go. Love you all for the kind messages.”
During her health journey, Teddi has reportedly leaned on her father, singer and artist John Mellencamp, and Edwin, as well as her circle of friends. She was never one to back down during her time on RHOBH, so it’s no surprise that Teddi is fighting this battle with strength and grace.
