Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars come and go. It isn’t exactly a new phenomenon to lose a beloved cast member. But I have to admit it would be odd to lose Erika Jayne after the rollercoaster (pun intended) ride we’ve been on with her. The Pretty Mess singer joined the franchise in 2015 for Season 6. She brought with her a May-December relationship, a love of fashion, and her blunt opinions. Dare I say I’d miss Erika if she didn’t stick around in the 90210? But are the rumors even true? Is Erika Jayne leaving RHOBH?

Why Erika Jayne leaving RHOBH rumors are swirling

A recent event flyer shared on social media left fans with more questions than answers. It read, “Erika Jayne … The iconic musician, TV star and former Real Housewife heads to Camden.” “Former” is the key word for any Bravo sleuth. But Erika has yet to comment on a possible new title. This season, fans watched as Erika settled into her role as Switzerland, which was a nice change of pace from the recent seasons where she was fighting for her livelihood through anger.

RHOBH viewers have already questioned if Real Housewives of Beverly Hills might also be getting a cast shake-up. The network has already done this move with Real Housewives of New York and Real Housewives of Atlanta. So it isn’t a far-fetched idea.

Garcelle Beauvais has already handed in her diamond, as she wanted to spend more time with her boys. Meanwhile, Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards kept a lot of their cards close to their chest, which made for an anticlimactic season finale. Erika seemed to tire of the constant bickering between the women, which made me wonder if Season 14 was her last straw. Then again, she seems activated at the RHOBH reunion, and shaded Garcelle on WWHL…

Erika Jayne enjoyed a RHOBH spinoff, and could get another

Erika was given a spinoff, Bet It All on Blonde, and could have an opportunity for another. Even though some RHOBH fans found the Las Vegas residency special a bit boring, the spinoff was enthralling. Cameras followed Erika around in the lead-up to her big opening night. And she dealt with some real-world ramifications. She shared how she felt she lost her sex appeal and drive. She opened up to viewers about her ongoing depression. If Sin City ever offered her another deal as a viewer, I hope Bravo cameras would be invited back for a second act. Whether you like her or not, Erika makes for good TV.

If the rumors of Erika leaving RHOBH turn out to be true, there is a lot that she could be turning her attention to. She just revived her role as Roxie Hart in Broadway’s Chicago. She had a well-received second run that ran from January to February 2025. Erika reportedly connected with the part exceptionally well and was able to showcase her talent. Perhaps it was because Roxie, who was known for her charm and ambition, was also fighting for her life, just as Erika continues to do.

It is clear Erika is at home when positioned center-stage. If her reviews were any indication, Erika can easily sashay with the best of the dancers and use her excellent comedic timing to take on almost any role that comes her way.

Erika has lent her talents to more than just the Bravosphere. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also took part in Dancing with the Stars. Right now, some fans believe she is the Yorkie on the Masked Singer. So I think it is fair to surmise that if Erika was gearing up to leave her diamond behind she would have more than enough options for continuing her career in the arts. But perhaps Erika would choose to take a step back to concentrate on her legal issues.

Since 2020, Erika has been proclaiming her innocence to anyone who will listen. But she still has a long way to go before her name is totally cleared. Frankly, that must be an exhausting way to live her life. Erika has been dealt a few more lawsuits as of late.

She has been sued by Tom Girardi’s trustee, who alleged she knew about the $25 million paid into her account. She is also facing a lawsuit from designer Christopher Psaila, who is accusing her of trying to get fraudulent refunds.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available to stream on Peacock.
