Teddi Mellencamp Shares Cancer Battle Update and Makes Emotional Admission

Since Teddi Mellencamp was first diagnosed with Stage 2 melanoma in October 2022, she’s used her platform to bring awareness to cancer. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is always transparent about her good days, and her bad ones. Despite her situation becoming more dire with the discovery of multiple tumors in her brain and lungs earlier this year, Teddi still shares the same vulnerability with her social media followers.

The accountability coach can be commended for her positive attitude in the midst of such a situation. But most recently, Teddi shared a deeply personal moment in which she allowed herself to give in to sadness. And followers were there in the comment section to remind the RHOBH alum that she is not alone.

Teddi Mellencamp admits she sometimes feels “very alone” during her cancer journey

Earlier this week, Teddi posted a set of before and after pics from four months ago. The former Bravolebrity shared that she was feeling “very alone.” Teddi has been battling stage four cancer after it was discovered that her melanoma had metastasized to her brain and lungs.

Teddi has previously put a positive spin on having to shave her head and wear a wig. But her recent post showed a vulnerable side of this journey. In the first picture, she is rocking her signature long, blond hair. The second picture is a close-up of Teddi’s head post-shave. Now, her hair has started to fall out, revealing several bald spots.

“What a difference 4 months makes,” she captioned the photo. “Sometimes I am so focused on ‘being strong’ that I forget I am allowed to be sad, cry it out, and feel very alone.”

No one could fault Teddi for having a bad day. Currently, over five thousand comments have been posted, full of encouraging and kind words.

“I love my kids, friends, and family so much and am forever grateful to them but dang today is one of those days,” she wrote.

The Two T’s In a Pod podcast cohost empathized with those who are hanging on until “bedtime” every day so that they “can start over tomorrow.” She addressed all of those fans struggling, “We are not alone.”

Finally, Teddi asked for viewing recommendations. She shared the hashtag “#overyoucancer” to conclude her message.

Hopefully, tomorrow is a better day.
