Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 13 will see tensions continue to run high between two of the department heads. Chief Stew Lara Rigby, and Head Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, have turned their attention to each other now that Bosun Wihan du Toit is out of the picture. However, their feud recently made Tzarina take out her frustrations onto her sous chef, Alesia Harris. Will Tzarina be able to make things right with Alesia? Who would have thought the tipping point between Tzarina and Lara would be a set of plates? It also didn’t help that Tzarina felt like she was being pushed out of the crew. She had walked in on Alesia, Lara, and Brianna Duffield having a goss sesh about her behavior.
Tzarina had stated, “I don’t know if Lara is trying to mess with me right now, but she seems like she’s grooming my sous chef to be against me. And that’s not a friend.”
Later, Alesia decided to express her frustrations with Tzarina for snapping at her in the galley. Tzarina apologized and blamed it on “the industry.” Alesia felt somewhat better, but that didn’t seem to be enough.
However, in the sneak peek of Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 13, Tzarina takes a second shot at making amends with Alesia.
Tzarina explained, “I’m sorry that you’re in the middle of it. I am, I guess, embarrassed of the way that I reacted. But I also feel like I’ve been pushed in a corner by her. And it’s just me, my reaction coming back. But I just want to make sure that you are happy and that I can be approachable to you. I do want the galley to be a safe space.”
Alesia felt that did the trick. In her confessional she said, “Tzarina’s apology is so nice to hear. We’re working through it. Shake hands, move on, and now you can squabble with Lara.” Now, if only Tzarina and Lara could make things right as well!
