Then, we watched her invest thousands and thousands of dollars in rebranding the business to Wild Rose Beauty. Four years later, rumors are swirling that the company has gone under. That means she just flushed a whole lot of money down the drain.
Whitney Rose’s beauty line may have shut down, but the RHOSLC star is rebranding
According to a report from The Sun, Whitney quietly shut down Wild Rose Beauty in 2024. Their Instagram hasn’t been updated this year, and if you visit the website, you’ll see that all of the products are marked as “sold out.” Instead, they’re now listed on a website called Sōl People, with the items still in their original Wild Rose Beauty packaging.
Sōl People is a third-party direct selling company. They describe themselves as a “beautiful community where you can come exactly as you are.” Their website explains, ”By pairing beautiful, science-backed products with life-changing digital courses, we provide a ‘wholistic’ experience that fosters self-love along your transformation journey.”
Sounds pretty on brand for Whitney, right? Well, according to insiders close to the RHOSLC star, she hasn’t publicly mentioned any of these business updates because things aren’t going well. She doesn’t own Sōl People, and she knows people are going to drag her for this.
“They lost a fortune. The loss was well into the six-figure range, especially since they had just rebranded Wild Rose Beauty, which they initially invested a lot of money into,” a source explained.
“There’s still a lot she’s figuring out, and on top of that, things are not selling,” the source continued.
