Lindsay Hubbard is nurturing a private relationship with her boyfriend, Turner Kufe. The Summer House star makes a living putting her business out there, both on camera and social media. So how are the duo making it work when the former publicist was used to such a public life?
Lindsay notably lived out a doomed relationship and engagement with Carl Radke in the public eye. Their breakup was even filmed for the hit reality TV show. Perhaps keeping the father of her child off-camera was refreshing after all that. It seems that Turner and Lindsay are making it work.
Lindsay Hubbard finds navigating relationship with Turner Kufe “challenging”
“It’s challenging, for sure to, you know, to navigate that,” Lindsay told Life & Style. “I think it’s hard because I am a public figure. I’ve been on TV for almost a decade.”
“I think it also translates to Instagram, as well,” Lindsay explained. “We live our lives on screen, you know, during the times and seasons that we film. But then, you know, for the other seasons, I am living my life on Instagram.”
Turner and Lindsay dated briefly at the end of 2020. However, they reconnected in January 2024 in the months after the Bravolebrity’s public split from Carl. The couple welcomed their first child, Gemma, In December 2024.
“So it is challenging being with somebody private. I never thought that I would be in a relationship with somebody this private,” Lindsay shared.
However, Linds was open and “ready for a good change” after publicly sharing her relationships “for so long.” Turner’s line of work requires that he stay out of the public eye too.
“It’s tough when, you know, you’re dealing with a job in finance,” she says. “Kyle [Cooke] and I talk about this all the time, you know, even with our friends, our guy friends, girlfriends who are in finance, they’ve never been able to film with us throughout the years. It’s a very strict industry when it comes to publicity, you know.”
Those working in finance are “not allowed to have any publicity.” So even if Turner was willing to make an appearance on Summer House, it would seriously jeopardize his career. Certainly, Lindsay will not be pushing the issue.
“I obviously need the father of my child to keep his job,” Lindsay stated.
