Season 2 of The Valley has not shown Jax Taylor in a flattering light. His anger issues and controlling behavior towards his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, finally landed him in rehab. However, that didn’t stop him from reaching out and rage-texting Brittany during the cast’s Santa Barbara trip.

Jax entered rehab to deal with his anger, alcohol, and cocaine addictions. However, his anger at Brittany might be getting in the way. His constant rage texting during his brief breaks from therapy stole any hopes she had of a peaceful time without Jax.
“They take his phone while he’s in therapy, and then he gets 15-minute breaks in between. So, he’s doing therapy, getting his phone, rage texting me, going back to therapy, getting his phone, rage texting me, going back to therapy…,” Brittany told her friends in a recent episode of The Valley.
However, Brittany was shocked when her friend Janet Caperna showed her some headlines on her phone about Jax entering treatment. “I don’t know who the source is,” Brittany stated as she smashed the fourth wall, “but some of the details that people know is a little weird. I’m like, how do they know this many details?”
For her part, Brittany wasn’t sure if Jax knew that his rehab stay had hit the news. “I know that you wouldn’t, but we have to be, like, very apparent. He knew that we were going on this trip,” Brittany said. “I’m like, who told him…?”
Welp, that would be Jesse Lally. He admitted that he talked to Jax every day and told him about the trip. “We don’t want to tempt him to check out early because he can check out whenever he wants,” Janet told Jesse. However, Jesse begged to differ in his confessional. “What would set him off is us going on a trip, not telling him, and then having him see it,” Jesse said. “Why does Jax not deserve support?”
This season of The Valley is messy, and I’m here for it.
