Carl Radke just can’t help shooting himself in the foot. In response to his ex-fiancé Lindsay Hubbard’s continually taking “jabs” at him, he believed he was offering her some grace.
After Summer House castmate Jesse Solomon commented that Lindsay didn’t attend the launch of Carl’s new business because she’s probably still hurt, Carl had a different response. The Soft Bar owner said he thought Lindsay was “still embarrassed“ by their split just weeks before the wedding.
But when Lindsay heard Carl’s remark on TV, she got activated and immediately went after her ex on X. “Sadly, I did not see this convo until last night,” the new mom wrote. “I wasn’t able to address it at the reunion, but here’s what I will say …”

“Embarrassed is not the word here,” Lindsay wrote. “This man (my best friend of 8 years/fiancé/partner) blindsided me and publicly humiliated me on National Television with less respect than you would have for your enemy. Why ON EARTH would I need to go to his ‘soft launch’ for his bar?”
Lindsay added she would have had to drive “3 hours deep into New Jersey in the middle of rush hour traffic.” Factoring in that she was very pregnant at the time, I can’t blame her for passing on Carl’s event.
“This had nothing to do with her coming to NJ or the Soft Bar event. Zero,” Carl responded. “I was asked a question … and I responded with an opinion in the moment.”
“I regret even saying anything about her,” Carl added.
Not done yet with the punishment of her ex, Lindsay, of course, had more to say. “Hey, Carl … If all you’re getting from me are ‘jabs,’ after the insane disrespect and gaslighting you showed me the season before, you should be thanking your lucky stars. Seems like someone is a little soft. I owe you literally nothing … We are not friends, nor will we ever be.”
Sounds like somebody’s still got a lot of feelings. Lindsay’s got a new boyfriend and the baby girl she always wanted. Be happy, Lindsay, and just live your own life. I understand why she didn’t go to the Soft Bar launch, but does she really need to be making jabs at Carl all the time? Just let it go.
