If you’re a Below Deck Mediterranean fan, then you definitely remember Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran. The Brazilian-born chef got on Captain Sandy Yawn’s last nerve in pretty much every single episode. She gave him grief about his plating techniques, and things went downhill from there.
The last straw for Kiko came in Episode 10, when he cooked up a Las Vegas-inspired meal that failed to live up to expectations. He got fired, and a few episodes later, so did Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier.
These days, Kiko has put his Below Deck drama behind him. In an Instagram update, he shared that he tied the knot with his partner, Nicole Skwara. The photos are stunning, and this wedding looks way more fabulous than anything that happened on Below Deck Med Season 5.

“I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but every night I thank God for bringing you into my life,” Kiko wrote on Instagram, showing off the photos of his wedding to Nicole.
The lovebirds tied the knot on a rustic castle hill in the town of Homberg (Efze), Germany. The bride wore a beaded, off-the-shoulder gown while Kiko kept things a little more casual with a beige suit.
The pics showed Kiko and his bride all smiles on their wedding day. You can tell that they’re obsessed with each other. She’s also a yachty, and after filming Below Deck Med Season 5, she and Kiko have been traveling around the world and living their best lives.
“Seeing the world with my girlfriend, it’s just a dream,” he said in a 2020 interview.
Now, Kiko is going to be living that dream forever, and it was a long time coming. He first popped the question to Nicole back in April 2022. They spent their three-year engagement traveling the world, and of course, eating a bunch of really good food. Cheers to many more years to come!
