Sometimes, it’s your own kids who call you out the worst. That seems to be the case for Kim Zolciak. In the series premiere of Next Gen NYC, her daughter Ariana Biermann made a shocking admission about her mom’s financial situation. We knew she was struggling, but sheesh. We didn’t know she was this broke.

Next Gen NYC kicked off last night, introducing us to a world of crypto bros, Bravo nepo babies, and influencers. We obviously already knew Ariana as a kid from Real Housewives of Atlanta, but now, she’s all grown up and spilling the tea about her parents.
“I have been on TV since I was 5 years old,” Ariana began in a confessional. “I did reality television with my family, and then I started posting on Instagram.”
Ariana continued, “I got my first brand deal when I was 14. I was doing like three posts a week and you get paid astronomical to do a story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money. But, unfortunately, my parents took my money.”
Of course, we’ve known for years that Kim was struggling with gambling money. All of that came to the surface in her ongoing divorce from Kroy Biermann. Their house went into foreclosure, and Kim was selling old Christmas trees on Instagram. We just didn’t know she got so desperate that she dipped into Ariana’s influencer money. This is the type of greed you only see on Mama June: Family Crisis.
Although Kim has been known to hit up casinos and splurge on luxury items, Ariana said she didn’t know for sure how her parents spent all of the influencer money. She just found out about this two years ago, and she claimed her mom still asks for money.
“I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period,” Ariana added. “Nobody was honest, there was no transparency, and I have no idea where it actually went.”
