Next Gen NYC recently had its highly-anticipated series premiere, and wow, it was filled with bombshells. Arguably the biggest one came from Ariana Biermann. Her mother, and Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak and her father Kroy Biermann have consistently been making headlines for years. In recent times, it’s been because of their extremely tumultuous divorce.
During the first episode, Ariana revealed that both Kroy and Kim took her money. Specifically, she started doing brand deals at 14, and claims that all of that profit was taken from her. For a timeline refresher, it was also two years ago when the couple filed for divorce (for the first time). Are these two events related? Nonetheless, she just exposed her parents on national television, and revealed if her dad had something to say about it.
Ariana Biermann got honest about money on Next Gen NYC
Ariana recently addressed the jaw-dropping comments she made in the premiere episode. According to her, Kroy hasn’t brought it up.
“He hasn’t said anything about it since it came out or anything. But you have to sign a release for these things in order to talk about things, and he was willing to do that for me and was okay with me sharing my story and the things that have gone on over the last couple of years, and he’s been supportive in that,” she told PEOPLE.
The reality TV star also weighed in on how the divorce has affected her relationship with her dad. It even seems to be more impactful to their bond than her recent on-screen financial confession about him.
“The divorce has been very difficult and very messy, and my mom is my best friend, and it’s really hard to watch. A lot of these things go on, but I try to keep it separate, so we go in waves.
