Worlds are colliding on Next Gen NYC as expected. And fans saw familiar faces during the epic Real Housewives crossover which featured Real Housewives New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and Meredith Marks of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The iconic reality TV veterans joined their kids Gia Giudice and Brooks Marks.
It turns out the two get along like a house on fire. It makes sense. Both women are confident and strong-willed ladies who have no trouble saying what’s on their mind. They even discussed their anger management issues when Brooks said Meredith was scary and Teresa noted she goes from 0-100 in a second.
And of course, Teresa caused a bit of chaos when she recognized a crew member. Here’s how she broke the fourth wall…
Next Gen NYC Episode 2 saw RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice make an appearance
In the latest episode, Meredith and Teresa join their kids for dinner. The veteran housewives laughed and looked over menus and Teresa mistakenly confused taro root tacos for terrible tacos.
She also struggled to read the tiny print on the restaurant’s menu and used her phone’s flashlight to help her. Gia laughed and said her mom couldn’t see.
Teresa then turned and said “Hi” to a crew member off camera, breaking the fourth wall. The camera showed said crew member who smiled and waved as Teresa explained, “He’s on my show.”
Looks like a fun dinner indeed. And Gia and Brooks touched on the bond between their famous moms who have been friends for the past three years.
“Our moms get along so well,” Brooks said in a joint confessional. “They might get along the best out of all of us.”
He may be right. While Meredith and Teresa are talking about drinks on the slopes, drama is already unfolding on the show for their kids. The relationship is strained between Riley Burruss and Gia and Brooks mentioned that filming changed friendships along the way.
