James Kennedy spotted with rumored new girlfriend in Hawaii
James hasn’t waited long to dip his big toe back into the dating pool. The 33-year-old DJ was snapped while out and about with a mystery brunette. The pair was seemingly vacationing in Hawaii, where they were spotted tanning and enjoying the crystal-clear waters while relaxing on the beach. Fan account @BravoandCocktails shared a story from a fan who was staying at the same resort. The follower noted, “My sister is in Hawaii, and James Kennedy is staying at the same hotel with his new girlfriend.”
The photo showed both of them lying down by the water. The woman seemed to be lying in a lounge chair, doom-scrolling. At the same time, James was attending to her needs and handing her an item. Further, James posted his photos of himself modeling on the soft sand. The former Vanderpump Rules star was clearly enjoying himself. But James has yet to confirm that he is in a new relationship.
James Kennedy’s domestic violence arrest led to his split from Ally Lewber
In December 2024, James was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. He and Ally Lewber had just left Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party, where it was reported the DJ had been acting erratically. The former couple then had a loud argument on their front lawn in Burbank. It was then that witnesses reported seeing James push a woman who later turned out to be Ally. In the police report, it stated that “boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.” Ally told People, “I never was physically hurt and I never felt unsafe,” she says. “I think it was more just walking on eggshells and feeling anxious about, when is his next blow-up going to be?”
She added, “And I didn’t even realize this really until I was out of the house for a while, but just how my nervous system just feels normal again. It was always kind of anxious of making sure that he doesn’t get upset. Monitoring someone’s behavior is not healthy.” On December 17, James broke his silence with an Instagram Story. It read, “I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life. I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones.” The dog dad then added, “Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me.” The couple shortly broke up after the incident.
Vanderpump Rules returns without James Kennedy, and with a whole new cast
Whatever new is going on in James’ life, fans are no longer privy to. Vanderpump Rules was given a reboot, and James won’t be in the group anymore. Lisa Vanderpump recently gave a major update to E!. She shared, “It’s moving along at a very fast pace. But it’s totally different from the original show. Of course, it has to be different. That story had been told.” Even though James and the other OGs won’t be in the back alley of SUR fighting, LVP is sure the drama will still be there.
Additionally, she said, “You could film that show 365 days a year. There are a few people that have worked there for years that obviously come with their own problems, and then there’s some new people joining in.” Lisa ended by adding that the show is “Different. You can say different.” As for James, he seems to be going full steam ahead with his DJ career. He recently got booked for a gig in Michigan. And whoever James’ new boo is, one thing is for sure: the man has a type.
