Tom Schwartz Vanderpump Rules

In the wake of the Blake Lives Matter movement, Vanderpump Rules axed four of its cast members in June of 2020 for racially insensitive behavior. Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni were all given the boot.

In January of 2020, racially insensitive social media posts made by Brett and Max in the past resurfaced. The Pump Rules newbies both apologized, but it was much too little, and much too late.

Lala Kent Is Not Opposed To Faith Returning To Vanderpump Rules

Honest question: when it comes to Vanderpump Rules, what’s next? We all know that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute and two other guys no one cares about are gone. Rather, fired for racist behavior. And while fans were calling for Jax Taylor to be fired along with them, looks like he’s not going anywhere.

Lala Kent is sticking around too, as annoying as she can be. I’m guessing next season will focus more around her and fiancé, Randall Emmett. I mean honestly, we can’t watch another whole season of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney killing their pets, can we? But Lala and Randall already postponed their wedding due to coronavirus. So maybe by the time they start filming, things will have changed. And clearly, VPR is all aboard the filmed wedding train. Yes, we have gone from drunken fights in parking lots to….planning weddings. We’ve come a long way, but maybe a little too long if you catch my drift.

Porsha Williams Kandi Burruss

Simply put, 2020 has sucked. I don’t think anyone can really dispute that. But from the chaos of everything going on, something good has come out of it all. The discussion surrounding race in America.

This year’s reckoning of Bravo stars was just one step forward. Forcing the Vanderpump Rules cast to take responsibility for racist behavior was shocking to many, but absolutely necessary. Seeing some of our favorites, like Porsha Williams and Braunwyn Windham-Burke, calling for justice was inspiring.

Vanderpump Rules Lala Kent

A couple weeks ago, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent deleted all photos of Randall Emmett for attention. She also posted some quotes related to Alcoholics Anonymous. People put those things together and assumed she and Randall split up.

However, that’s not the case, because, well, she gets no money if they split up before getting married they’re still going strong. Even though Lala and Randall don’t follow each other Instagram and they’ve actually had each other blocked for years, it just felt like such a grab for media attention, which she got. Yes, we wrote up a story on this. Well, now, Lala and Randall are opening up about why she deleted all those photos and it’s just peak-level petty.

James Kennedy Lisa Vanderpump

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd are being sued by a former (and super short-lived) employee (who worked there for months) for unpaid wages… again. If you recall, another former employee sued the couple with similar claims in January 2020.

It’s been a rough time with the restaurants for the entrepreneurial couple. Lisa expressed concerns that her restaurants will close amid the coronavirus pandemic. And, then, Villa Blanca shut down, but, apparently, that has more to do with a lease ending than anything else… supposedly. Although things seem to be tough on the business front, some of the Vanderpump Rules cast members have Lisa’s back in response to the latest lawsuit against her and Ken.

Vanderpump Rules Danica Dow

When Vanderpump Rules viewers first met Danica Dow last season, she was venting about getting suspended as the assistant manager of SUR after she fought her on-again-off-again boyfriend Brett Willis after he suggested having a threesome.

That sounded like the beginning of an interesting storyline. However, we pretty much only saw Danica serve as a sounding board for Dayna Kathan’s love triangle and whatever Scheana Shay had going on throughout thee season. Yeah, she got into that fight during the season finale and she had that beef with recently fired cast member Max Boyens. However, other than that, her scenes were seemingly left on the cutting room floor.

Kristen Doute Is Donating A Portion Of Her Cameo Profits To The ACLU

Kristen Doute has been trying to recuperate her image since she was fired from Vanderpump Rules. No one here needs a reminder that her and Stassi Schroeder were axed by Bravo for filing a false police report against Faith Stowers. But I’ll reiterate it anyway because it was awful, stupid, unnecessary, and definitely racial profiling.

Since her termination, Kristen has made various attempts to rehab her persona right her wrongs. She apologized to Faith via a DM on social media, has been posting on social to support Black Lives Matter, and released a statement with Stassi and their crisis management team. Some may say Kristen is learning, others might say her actions aren’t enough. There is now one more thing Kristen is doing to reconcile public perception.

Lisa Vanderpump

Oh, Lisa Vanderpump, what a tangled web you weave. First, she has a lot to celebrate. Lisa has announced starting a new podcast and a new show about Vanderpump Dogs! I can’t wait to hear all about “ponies…and sex…or lack thereof.” A regular rainbows and butterflies kind of gal. Unfortunately, though, LVP’s image has also been hit with quite a few blows recently.

Vila Blanca has closed for good, and even Adrienne Maloof is coming forward to remind us of all the storylines LVP has constructed over the years. I think the running total is at like 5? Well, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there’s a reprieve in sight for this lady in pink.
