There’s a lot of controversy surrounding Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and we’re not talking about those questionable reunion looks. The season has had gun threats, alleged revenge porn, and two cast members who didn’t make it to the reunion. Regardless of all of the obstacles, Phaedra Parks just teased that the upcoming reunion is going to be worth watching.
Phaedra Parks promises an exciting RHOA reunion, despite Brit Eady skipping it
When the ladies of Atlanta sat down for the reunion in their glistening yellow looks, new cast member Brit Eady was very much absent. She skipped just like Phaedra skipped the Married to Medicine reunion last year. Being held accountable isn’t easy. Regardless, Phaedra said the ladies who did show up to the Season 16 sitdown came to play.
“It was hot and spicy like some good Popeye’s chicken,” Phaedra teased. “It was a very good reunion. Things were resolved, secrets were revealed, so there’s a lot of revelations in this reunion.”
According to Phaedra, Porsha Williams was the “phoenix rising” of the reunion. After a difficult season of navigating divorce and broken friendships, she supposedly showed up with purpose. Whether or not we’ll see any resolve in her beef with Shamea Morton? We’ll have to tune in to watch, but it doesn’t sound too promising.
“It was some big moments during that conversation, and I’m just hoping at the end of the day they can find a way back to each other, but a lot of things were revealed,” Phaedra said. “You’ve got to watch. It was definitely explosive.”
