Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami has centered around shifts among the cast members. Julia Lemigova’s feud with Guerdy Abraira resulted in Julia dousing the party planner with water. Meanwhile, Larsa Pippen is furious at Lisa Hochstein and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden. It seems that Larsa doesn’t allow her friends’ boyfriends to socialize with her ex, Marcus Jordan. However, RHOM’s newest blow-out centers around newbie Stephanie Shojaee and Lisa.

This season, Lisa is finally standing up for herself and voicing her opinion. Of course, her boyfriend Jody has her back. In addition, she has finally decided that she won’t allow Larsa to steamroll her.

Meanwhile, Stephanie is a legit boss. She works shoulder-to-shoulder with her husband, Masoud Shojaee, at his company, Shoma Group, and she serves as the company’s President. It is the third-largest real estate development firm in southern Florida. For Stephanie, her life revolves around work. She doesn’t suffer fools gladly, and that includes her new RHOM co-stars.

Let’s look at why Stephanie has a grudge against Lisa and see if there is any hope for peaceful co-existence.

RHOM newbie Stephanie Shojaee isn’t afraid to call out Lisa Hochstein

It is clear that Stephanie is strong-willed, confident, and has no difficulty speaking her mind. She is friends with Larsa and is eager to get to know the ladies, as she doesn’t have a lot of female friends. And if we know one thing about Stephanie, it is that her pet peeve is people who are late.

Enter Lisa! The entire group waited for two hours on a Sprinter for Lisa to show up so they could attend Alexia Nepola’s Greek-themed party. All of the RHOM ladies were annoyed, but Stephanie was stewing. When Lisa entered the bus, she greeted everyone like nothing was wrong. She was met with silence. Cue Stephanie.

“Lisa, do you think our time is more important than all of ours? Or do you think that you’re, like, more valuable?” Stephanie asked. “Are we supposed to, like, elevate your entrance? Did you think of how rude it is to make everybody wait?”

A stunned Lisa replied, “I don’t even know you that well for you to be speaking to me like that.” Stephanie responded, “I know enough about you that you just made us wait two hours waiting on you. It’s like the grand Lisa entrance.” She added, “It’s very rude.”

In one conversation, without raising her voice, Stephanie slammed Lisa for her chronic tardiness. Since Lisa has been running late since we met her on RHOM, this conversation was seriously overdue.

Still, Lisa stood her ground with Stephanie. She told the newbie not to speak to her that way again and shaded her for not having many friends. “You don’t need to be their mouthpiece,” Lisa told Stephanie. “These are my friends.” However, no one sprung to Lisa’s defense over her lateness. Maybe someone will get around to it in about two hours.

“Do not ever put your hand in front of my face or tell me what I need to discuss with my friends,” Lisa said. Then Stephanie demonstrated that her outstretched arm didn’t even reach over to Lisa. “I think you’re f*cking rude!” Lisa told Stephanie.

And when Stephanie tried to apologize? Lisa was having none of it. When Stephanie mentioned that lateness was her pet peeve, Lisa snapped, “Don’t lecture me.” She added that Stephanie’s words weren’t “a real apology.”

Welp, Stephanie wasn’t going to change her apology to suit Lisa. “Do you want an apology or do you not want an apology?” Stephanie remarked. “Either you take what I give you or you don’t take it.” I have a feeling that this will be a hard no from Lisa. In general, Lisa isn’t used to her friends calling out, and having an almost-stranger check her was a shock.

Could Lisa and Stephanie get on the right track during RHOM Season 7?

We are early in Season 7, but when Stephanie met Lisa for the first time, alarm bells went off. At Julia and Martina Navratilova’s baby shower, a tipsy Lisa made a bad impression. She referenced seeing Stephanie’s posts and noted that she was “rich.” Yikes!

“I want to be friends with her,” Lisa told Stephanie. “She has an amazing jet and I want to be friends with people that have jets and yachts.” Of course, Stephanie was immediately turned off by Lisa’s comments. According to Stephanie, she doesn’t need a friend who values what she has, not who she is. Plus, Stephanie strikes me as the type who isn’t very forgiving once she is crossed.

Then, we have Larsa. Since Larsa and Stephanie are besties, the chance of Stephanie accepting Larsa’s enemy is slim to none. If Larsa and Lisa resolve their feud, then there is a possibility that Stephanie and Lisa could get along.

However, Lisa has been late for more than a decade. She isn’t going to change her habits now. And the fact that it bothers Stephanie is more incentive for her to continue to be tardy. In my opinion, it doesn’t look promising that Stephanie and Lisa will be in a good place during Season 7.

The Real Housewives of Miami is available to stream on Peacock and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
