Lisa Rinna Admits Burning Andy Cohen’s Book: ‘I’m So Extra’

Lisa Rinna went after Bravo’s Andy Cohen in her new memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It. She wrote about Andy’s decision to publish their private text messages in his book, The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up, revealing she was so upset that she burned his book in her fireplace.

Andy confronted Lisa about the book blazing on the February 25 episode of Watch What Happens Live, calling the act “so extra.”

Lisa Rinna says it was “so beautiful” watching Andy Cohen’s book burn

On Wednesday’s episode of WWHL, Andy apologized to Rinna for including private text messages in his book.

“I said this to you when I saw you at The Traitors reunion. I apologize for publishing those texts,” he said. “I’ve had that done to me, and I didn’t like it. I had all these reasons for doing it, and then when I really thought about it, I was like, ‘Oh, wait, you gotta apologize.’ So, I’m sorry.”

In Andy’s 2023 memoir, he shared text messages from Lisa in which she was contemplating quitting Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after a difficult season. At the time, Lisa called his decision to include the messages “sketchy” and “unnecessary.”

While Andy felt Lisa had a valid reason to be upset about the texts, he couldn’t help but point out how “extra” her reaction was.

“You are so extra that you burned the freakin book,” he said. Lisa agreed with Andy’s label, telling him, “I am. I’m so extra.”

“It was so beautiful to watch your book go up in flames,” she joked.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
