Brit Eady Confirms RHOA Exit With Dramatic Post: ‘My Journey Here Is Done’

Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was a crazy ride for newbie Brit Eady. Brit feuded with Kenya Moore, resulting in a shocking and disturbing climax to their quarrel. Kenya alleged that Brit mentioned having a gun, and Kenya’s retaliatory move shook the RHOA cast.

During the grand opening of her hair spa, Kenya showed off poster boards allegedly depicting Brit performing a sexual act. This led to Kenya’s suspension and her departure from RHOA. Meanwhile, the incident put Brit in a dark place. When Brit opted to skip the Season 16 reunion, the writing was on the wall.

Now, Brit has announced via Instagram that she is turning in her peach. “As I close this chapter, I want to thank everyone who supported me, my friends, my followers, my amazing team, and everyone who defended my name. I decided to walk away from something that no longer serves me because I choose peace over destroying my mental,” Brit wrote.

She continued, “I choose ME, and a lot of ppl can’t say they choose themselves. I still have a lot of healing left to do, but you can’t heal in the same place that made you sick.” Brit added, “I don’t owe anyone closure, I only owe myself to do what’s best for me. My journey here is done.”

Of course, Brits’ departure isn’t a surprise given that she is suing Bravo for $20 million. Brit has accused Bravo of sexual harassment, fostering a hostile work environment, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. This all leads back to the debacle at Kenya’s hair spa opening and the images on that poster board. Meanwhile, Brit recently claimed that she was not the woman depicted in the photos.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues on Bravo every Sunday at 8/7c. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
