Soon, the ink will dry, marking Jax Taylor as a newly divorced dad. Fresh out of rehab, this chaotic star of The Valley is doing his best to move forward in life. But does this mean that Jax has any plans to move on with a new leading lady? Might additional children also be included in this picture? On these topics, Jax has some very definitive thoughts (for now).
Jax Taylor says he will “never get married again”
On The Valley After Show for Season 2 Episode 14, Jax and Brittany opened up about the “long road” ahead for them following their 4-year-old’s recent autism diagnosis. Cruz will need specific interventions and therapies. And these require patience, time, and all four of their hands on deck. Therefore, Jax will not be adding any additional children to his family.
As Jax explained, “It’s not that I don’t want any more kids. I just feel like my son’s gonna need me. And I wanna be there and I wanna give him my full attention. And I don’t think it’s fair to bring another child into this world and try to be like, ‘OK, I have to spend time with this child, this child, this child, you know?'”
Likewise, his failed marriage to Brittany Cartwright was enough. Moving forward, Jax also does not want to remarry, as he does not want to have to explain to a potential “new wife” that he might need to leave “because my ex-wife needs me with my child,” he noted.
Overall, Cruz is his “main priority. If he needs to live with me for the rest of his life, then he can live with me for the rest of his life. I don’t care. He’s my number one, and he will always be my number one,” Jax stressed.
The Valley airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo in the US. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
