It’s not a stretch to say that the cast of Next Gen NYC are well off. Young industry elites and children of the Real Housewives, flaunting money is all a part of their images. Hence, the $14,000 birthday dinner for Brooks Marks. They have money to spare, and Riley Burruss is no exception among the group.

In Season 1, Episode 7, she had one of the biggest laugh out loud moments of the season thus far. She accidentally dropped her expensive cell phone, plummeting it right into water. But, instead of trying to get it herself, Riley offered a cash prize for someone else to do the dirty work instead. Both Riley and Kandi were guests on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live. During the segment, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum insisted on poking fun at her daughter’s on-screen mishap.

“The privilege! She didn’t even attempt to jump in there for that phone. She was like, ‘Could somebody [jump in there]? I’ll give you $1,000. Where is this $1,000 coming from? That’s what I want to know,” she asked in the episode.

Riley responded by saying that it would have come from her pockets. She also did admit that some of those funds still come from her mom, though.

“No, she didn’t [cut me off], but because I’m still going to get my master’s. I’m still gonna go to school.”

Next Gen NYC airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and is available the next day on Peacock. It’s also streaming on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
