Throughout Season 2 of The Valley, fans have been bashing Jax Taylor. There was even a petition made to get him axed off of the show. Everyone was hoping that he’d step down…and now they’ve got their wish. Jax recently announced that he was leaving the series to focus on his health.
He wasn’t fired by Bravo (allegedly), which is what everyone would’ve expected. Nonetheless, the Season 2 reunion will be the last viewers see of Jax, at least for a little while. None of his now-former co-stars have given their public response just yet. But, leave it to Andy Cohen to put his opinion out first.
Andy thinks Jax leaving The Valley is the right choice
In a recent segment of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Andy addressed Jax’s exit. In his eyes, it was the best choice for the reality TV star.
“I’m very pleased with his decision and I think it is reading the room well and I think the most important thing is that I hope that he can work on all of his issues, and this comes up at the reunion,” he shared in the July 17 episode.
The Watch What Happens Live host continued to tease his tough-love chat with Jax during the upcoming reunion.
“I have kind of a serious conversation with him about his need for control and his anger issues and what it’s gonna take to get to a better place with Brittany and, you know, in the world, and I hope that he takes the time to lean into this away from the cameras.”
A Season 2 reunion date has not been announced. But when it does, make sure to get your popcorn ready.
The Valley airs at 8/7c each Tuesday on Bravo. It’s also available to stream on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
