The divorce between Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia has been settled, but their drama is far from over. The ex-husband of the Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed a lawsuit over social media posts insinuating that Simon experienced erectile dysfunction. Simon feels like he’s been defamed, and he wants Porsha to pay up.
Simon Guobadia has demanded $500k from Porsha Williams
Porsha’s shady Instagram post happened in July 2024, as the two exes went back and forth on Instagram. Simon called her a “witch,” and then Porsha shared a series of posts about “men’s health awareness.” She didn’t directly mention Simon, but she highlighted how erectile dysfunction could cause symptoms like “anger, frustration, sadness, and a lack of confidence.”
A few months later, Simon filed a lawsuit against Porsha, accusing her of defamation. At the time, Simon said he wanted damages, but there were no details about how much he wanted. Now, in new court documents reviewed by Us Weekly, we’ve learned that he’s asking for half a million dollars.
Why $500,000? Simon said that Porsha’s defamatory posts caused him to lose business opportunities and sponsorships. Another part of the claim is related to reputational harm, emotional distress, and humiliation.
According to Simon’s lawyers, Porsha acted with “malicious intent” by sharing the posts on her social media. They said that Porsha’s “outsized” platform influenced the public’s perception of him.
“[Porsha’s] statements were false; [Simon] does not have ED and has never suffered from or been diagnosed with this condition,” his lawyer urged.
Although Porsha’s lawyers want this case thrown out of court, Simon is ready to go the distance. In his latest filing, he offered to submit medical documentation proving that his penis works as intended.
