Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge has never been one of Slade Smiley’s fans. As you may recall, Gretchen Rossi proposed to Slade during Season 8 of RHOC. Of course, Tamra was quick to call it fake.
The feud between this duo has been set to boil since Gretchen first grabbed an orange on RHOC. And, from the looks of Season 19, that isn’t going to change anytime soon. And Tamra continuing to criticize Slade isn’t acceptable to Gretchen. Well, Gretchen may want to buckle up, because I don’t think that these allegations about Slade are going anywhere.
Gretchen Rossi says RHOC co-star Tamra Judge has no “soul”
During a recent episode of RHOC, Gretchen reacted to Tamra once again slamming her longtime fiancé. “Slade has never been a deadbeat dad. He just lost his son, like if you can’t have a soul in that moment, you don’t have a f*cking soul,” Gretchen said in her confessional.
Gretchen was referencing Slade’s son, Grayson Arroyo-Smiley, whom Slade shared with his ex, Michelle Arroyo. Sadly, Grayson passed away at the age of 22 in February 2023. Grayson was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer at the age of five and underwent 30 brain surgeries during his lifetime.
Complicating this situation was Michelle’s accusation that Slade and Gretchen never really spent any time with Grayson. She objected to Gretchen and Slade’s public grieving over Grayson’s death. In 2023, Slade reportedly still owed Michelle $152,665.27 in child support. That report doesn’t bolster any claims about Slade’s incredible parenting skills.
Meanwhile, Gretchen and Slade share a six-year-old daughter, Skylar Gray Smiley. We haven’t heard when, or if, this Orange County couple plans to walk down the matrimonial aisle. I suspect that Tamra probably shouldn’t wait by her mailbox for an invitation.
