Love Island USA Season 7 was definitely controversial. Two Islanders were removed from the villa because of their prior use of racist slurs. Plus, the drama among the cast was spicy. There were tears, crash-outs, and plenty of between-the-sheets action.

Meanwhile, some fan favorite couples imploded, while a new surprise favorite couple emerged. And host Ariana Madix kept the Islanders on their toes with crazy twists that upended the game. All in all, the season delivered some memorable personalities and moments.

In the end, Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were voted Season 7’s winners. When Bryan opened the envelope with the $100,000 cash prize, he decided to split it with Amaya Papaya. Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe came in second place.

During the Love Island USA finale, Ariana announced that there would be a reunion. So, when is the Love Island reunion release date? And what can we expect to see at the reunion? Please pass the popcorn, babe, and read on.

The Season 7 Love Island USA reunion will drop on Monday, August 25, at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.

The episode, which will be two hours long, will delve into all the friendship fallouts, breakups, and love stories. With all of the controversies this season, there is a ton to unpack. Viewers have questions, and we demand answers!

During the Season 6 reunion, Ariana was the solo host. However, this time, she has a veteran by her side. Bravo icon Andy Cohen will be co-hosting with our Love Island queen, and I can’t wait to see them in action. Andy has been open about his admiration for Ariana’s hosting skills on the show.

“I am so proud of you. [I’m] watching you kill it all over the place,” Andy previously told Ariana. “It’s exciting.” High praise from Daddy Cohen!

Of course, Ariana is used to being in the hot seat when Andy hosted the Vanderpump Rules reunions. So, seeing Ariana and Andy working together will be fascinating. Plus, Andy won’t let any of the Love Island USA cast members slip out of answering his questions. We don’t know yet who will be appearing on the show, but it is a safe bet that the final five will be there.

Love Island reunion predictions

The Season 7 Love Island USA reunion is going to be messy. Is it even a reunion if it isn’t? First, viewers would like to see the show address the racist slur scandal that booted both Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Ortega from the villa. While Yulissa was booted during the second episode, Cierra made it to Episode 30.

So, will either of these Islanders attend the reunion? A production insider reportedly told The U.S. Sun, “Cierra is pushing to be invited, but we haven’t decided yet if she will be attending.” Then a second source claimed that some of the cast members don’t want her at the event.

While having Cierra present may send the wrong message and upset the Love Island USA cast and viewers, I predict that this issue will be addressed. It is only fitting that the cast and Ariana share their thoughts on this controversy.

Nic was coupled up with Cierra for much of the season, until her removal from the villa gave him a second chance with Olandria. However, we are still waiting to hear how he feels about the scandal.

Meanwhile, I also predict that fans will hear all the dirty details about the now-infamous villa hook-ups. Several couples had sex in the communal villa, and I can’t imagine Ariana and Andy not having that on their radar.

Without a doubt, fans want to know which couples are still together. It seems like fan favorites Nic and Olandria, and winners Amaya and Bryan, are committed to making a go of their relationships in the real world.

There are still some questions about Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene. The duo was dumped from the island right before the finale. Rumors were circulating about whether the couple already knew each other and had a relationship in the outside world.

Plus, fans want to know the relationship status of rodeo rider Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway. Viewers gave the couple a big side-eye when Taylor picked Clarke over longtime partner Olandria. However, some viewers were rooting for “Nicolandria” since the first week, even if the duo didn’t realize they were vibing. So cute!

And, Love Island USA fans want to hear more details about why “Mamacita” Huda Mustafa dumped Chris Seeley on the date just before the finale. Yet, the former couple still placed third in the finale because the fans voted before they broke up. Welp, voting for the winners is an issue to address ahead of next season.

Plus, will Huda and Jeremiah Brown hash out their differences? The former duo was coupled up from day one in the villa, until America paired Jeremiah with bombshell Iris Kendall. Huda spun out, but before that incident, there were already rumblings that the couple’s relationship “was toxic.” So, will Huda and Jeremiah explain why their coupling soured? Or just keep it moving?

Love Island USA is available to stream on Peacock.
